The research group of Dr. Peter König at the Institute of Anatomy invites applications for a postdoctoral position (E-13) at the University of Luebeck.
The position is available fromand ends .
The project is part of a collaborative research center with colleagues from Borstel, Marburg and Munich (SFB/Transregio 22, Allergic Responses of the Lung) and is based on applying advanced microscopic techniques to answer immunological questions in the field of allergic airway inflammation. The project is conducted in close collaboration with the colleagues from Borstel, Marburg and Munich.
The focus of the project is to apply and to further develop in vivo and ex vivo microscopic techniques focussing on 2-photon microscopy, high speed video microscopy as well as laser microdissection for molecular analysis mainly but not exclusively in mouse models. At the University of Luebeck, an inspiring and vibrant community for microscopic imaging is active on campus and close collaborations with these groups exist.
Candidates must hold a PhD university degree in biology, biochemistry, medicine or a related discipline. The applicant should be interested in microscopic techniques, image analysis, as well as in cell biology and and should have experience in microscopic and immunological approaches.
The University of Luebeck seeks to increase the percentage of female scientists and encourages female candidates to apply. In cases of similar qualification, competence and specific achievements women will be considered in equal terms within the legal framework. Handi-capped candidates with equal qualification will be given preference.
Applications (preferentially in electronic form) with curriculum vitae and copies of certificates mentioning the reference number 524/09 should be sent until firstname.lastname@example.org, www.anat.uni-luebeck.deto: Dr. Peter König, Institut für Anatomie, Universität zu Lübeck, Ratzeburger Allee 160, D-23538 Lübeck, Tel.: ++49(0) , Fax: ++49(0) , E-Mail:
